The picture above isn’t your ordinary gradient. It’s the first installment of a new flavor of article at SPBlog. Each month, we will poll the designers, writers, account managers and other SullivanPerkins creatives on questions ranging from “What is your favorite book cover” to “How does one prove whether or not there are infinite prime numbers”. Our attempts at the latter are unlikely to get published; however, for every other question you can expect a healthy dose of design insight.

We kept it easy for today, and polled the SPers:

“What is your favorite color?”

You can see the results above. Blue was by far the most popular choice, but everyone had a different way of referring to it, including “Royal Blue,” “100% Cyan” and “#0000FF“.

If you stare real close, you can see “the perfect shade for nail polish, cars and fire engines”, “the color of hope”, and a beautiful shade of “I don’t know”.
