One of the fun things about creative services is randomly finding your designs in the wild, sometimes years after you’ve filed them away. SP designer Kelly Allen recently took his son to the National Scouting Museum, and while there came across two patches featuring logos we created years ago.
The patch on the left bears the emblem of the museum itself. The patch on the right is for the Boy Scouts Adventures program.
The fun part is, years later, we can still go back and track our thought process that came up with these designs. The National Scouting Museum eventually decided on a combination of the Fleur-de-Lis and the building’s columned facade, but as you can see below, we explored a wide variety of concepts. It’s not enough to have just one good idea. The dozen below were the “good start” that eventually led to the winner.
