That’s right, it’s J.P. Anderson, a former SullivanPerkins staffer who wrote for Inside Look, our community magazine project that provided where-to-go, what-to-do information for hundreds of communities, from Hawaii to New York.

SullivanPerkins handled this massive assignment for over 15 years. The client: GTE Directories, which became Verizon Information Services, which became Idearc, which became SuperMedia. And who did J.P. Anderson become? J.P. moved back to Chicago some years ago, where he now serves as editor-in-chief of Michigan Avenue magazine. That other guy in the picture? He did extraordinary things long ago too, in a galaxy far, far away.

P.S. We spotted the shocking grey beard of J.P. in the March 25th edition of Advertising Age. Nice tie.
