The UNT Foundation recently hosted an event at the Meyerson in downtown Dallas in support of the Emerald Eagle Scholars program, which provides financial support to deserving UNT undergraduates. At the event, outstanding UNT alums were honored. Lisa Loeb paid homage to Roy Orbison, whose family was present. NFL Hall of Famer Mean Joe Greene was also honored. The festivities were hosted by UNT alums Peter Weller (Robocop) and Melissa Rycroft Strickland (The Bachelor/Dancing with the Stars).

One portion of the program provided the first public announcement of the university’s current $200 million fundraising campaign. SullivanPerkins developed the campaign name and graphic. We also wrote the script and provided selected graphics for a UNT-produced campaign video that premiered at the Meyerson and now resides online.
