One of the pleasures of our business is serving remarkable businesses in a variety of industries. None is more remarkable than Kosmos Energy, our client in Dallas that goes offshore West Africa, drills 12,000 feet down into the ocean, and finds the hydrocarbons that remain essential to life in the developed world and to the future prosperity of developing nations. Last month, Kosmos announced a major gas discovery offshore Senegal, in a basin where Kosmos has had a 100 percent success rate, with six consecutive successful exploration and appraisal wells to date. Kosmos estimates that the discovery represents a gas resource of approximately 15 trillion cubic feet (Tcf).
