After Hoblitzelle Foundation was selected as the 2017 recipient of The Sprague Award, the highest honor for community service that Southwestern Medical Foundation bestows, SullivanPerkins was selected to produce imagery and messaging for the event on the campus of Old Parkland. Among the design, writing, production and programming tasks: a new brand identity for The Sprague Award, event invitations both print and electronic, the gold foil stamped event program, a dozen ads from event sponsors, the framed Proclamation, engraving a crystal award and supervising design of a customized presentation box, social media support, video/motion graphic elements, guest gift design, et al. Given that Hoblitzelle Foundation was established by Karl Hoblitzelle, legendary Dallas businessman and community leader who owned a theater company whose properties included the Majestic in Dallas, the theme of the evening was appropriately theatrical.
