Senior designer Brett Baridon allowed us to celebrate his 20th anniversary one recent Friday toward the end of September, as we brought in fried chicken from Bubba’s. That was appropriate — since Brett is one of the most skilled graphic designers anywhere (handling Nokia, Commercial Metals, et. al.), and Bubba’s has some of the best fried chicken in Dallas. Also on the menu, an apple fritter with a candle in it, as we did double duty and sang happy birthday to Rhonda Jenkins, our bookkeeper extraordinaire. Michael Langley, senior writer, whose 20th passed unnoticed a few months prior, was too busy working on this blog entry to attend.
