Last weekend the Harvard Clubs of Dallas and San Antonio celebrated their 100-year histories, along with alumni from other states and Mexico, in a 2-day event at the Dallas Anatole Hotel. Harvard came to Texas for a Friday night dinner and address by university president Drew Faust at the Anatole, and a series of presentations with visiting Harvard professors on Saturday, including a lunch addressed by alumnus Richard Fisher, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Slides from Mr. Fisher’s presentation, which detailed some of the strengths of the Texas economy, and provided other insights, can be accessed here. SullivanPerkins contributed to the event as a patron and as a member of the local planning committee. We also developed an emblem in celebration of the 100th birthday of the Harvard Club of Dallas:
